The Popset Verified Creator Program allows eligible users to monetize their content by selling posts to collectors. As a Verified Creator, you can offer your unique content to a global audience and engage with your supporters in new and exciting ways.
To become a Verified Creator, users must complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process, ensuring their identity is confirmed. Additionally, they must agree to the Verified Creator Program Agreement.
As a Verified Creator, you unlock enhanced features within the Popset app. This includes the ability to set a price for the collection of your posts. You can choose from four preset price points: $1.99, $4.99, $9.99, and $19.99. Although prices are fixed, you have full control over other collection parameters, such as edition size and the availability window.
After joining the program, you will be able to toggle the monetization feature directly on your posts, setting the price and other collection details easily from the post creation modal.
Verified Creators will receive payouts via our payout provider (Stripe) on a periodic basis. Once Popset has verified that the sold content complies with our Terms of Service, the payout will be sent directly to the Verified Creator's Stripe Connect account.
Verified Creators receive up to 65% of the total sale amount, less any associated payout fees. This revenue share accounts for the 30% fee charged by the Apple and Google app stores, as well as a 5% service fee retained by Popset.
Verified Creators can monetize original content that aligns with Popset’s Content Policy and Terms of Service. Any content that violates these rules, including harmful, illegal, or otherwise prohibited material, will not be approved for sale.
There are no specific restrictions on how many posts you can monetize as a Verified Creator. However, each post must meet the program guidelines and undergo automated moderation screening before it becomes available for sale.
Collectors can browse your profile or posts and choose to purchase them directly from the Popset app. Creators are also able to utilize Popset’s shareable links to share these posts across other social networks and/or distribution channels to reach their existing audience. They will see the price, edition size, and any other relevant details before completing the purchase.
